We invite other church representatives

The Iredell County Sheriff's Office has an initiative Sheriff Campbell introduced several years ago.
Church Shield is the Church or House of Worship Safety program
The Sheriff’s Office will bring instructors to discuss:
• The need for security in the church
• Forming a security or safety team
• Identify assets that you have or need to have
• Establish communications both internal and external
• Concealed carry issues as they pertain to the church and the church grounds
• Critical incident response at your facility.
• Also a site survey will be conducted with suggestions for improvement in security.
