Brooklyn Book Festival in New York City
A rich feast for local bookworms, the annual Brooklyn Book Festival opens its doors - in the same time with thousands of covers - on the second decade of September. It's the largest free literary event in NYC, which welcomes well-known writers as well as newcomers. The festival emerges booklovers of all ages and offers literature for all tastes.
The event includes readings, panel discussions, vendors, and author signings. On Children's Day and Bookends one can attend themed parties and watch stand-up shows.
This year’s festival runs September 10-17, 2018. Festival Day (September 16) is at Brooklyn Borough Hall & Plaza; BKBF Children’s Day (September 15) takes place at MetroTech Commons in downtown Brooklyn. There are also Bookend Events presented citywide.
